Cooltherm Hottherm floor convector

The Hottherm floor convector is a powerful natural convection convector produced by the Ukrainian company Cooltherm since 2013. During this time, the company has managed to achieve high results in the development and production of premium class convectors through close cooperation with colleagues from Germany.

Important advantages of the Cooltherm Hottherm floor convector are:

• increased heat transfer rates due to an efficient heat exchanger;
• reinforced body made of 1 mm thick steel with special spacers;
• exclusively European components;
• a large number of color options without increasing the cost of painting;
• standard, angular or radius execution;
• completely ready for installation.

The principle of operation of a convector with forced convection is as follows: cold air from the window surface, as well as the cooled air of the room, descend into the convector channel; the air is warmed by the heat exchanger and rushes up due to natural convection; floor convectors, located directly in front of a window or glazed facades, create a kind of thermal curtain that effectively prevents the penetration of cold air into the room.

Floor convectors are used in rooms with panoramic glazing or with low-lying windows: in residential premises, winter gardens, in office and administrative buildings, in showrooms and sales areas.

The natural convection convector can be used as an additional source of heating and effectively cut off the cold air that comes from the windows. Suitable for operation with a maximum operating pressure of 10 bar and a maximum operating temperature of 110 °C.

The convector is completed with a thermal valve and a shut-off valve.
